Carter: Just When You Think He Couldn't Sink Lower

Ex President Jimmah Carter plans to meet with known terrorist leaders of Hamas in Syria. Words fail me. Almost. This is a sick, twisted man. Let us recap a few Carterian highlights, shall we?

  • Iran invaded US Embassy and takes hostages
  • Carter executes a military rescue mission that fails miserably because, well, Carter is an idiot savant minus the savant (as an aside, these hostages were released upon the swearing in of President Reagan)
  • Carter gets Begin and Sadat to shake hands; Sadat is promptly assassinated by Muslims
  • Arab oil embargo, anyone?
  • Disco music

Need more proof this guy is bad news for the US of A? Roll the CAIR quote!

But Ibrahim Hooper, communications director of the Council on American-Islamic
Relations, a non-profit advocacy group, said Carter's efforts demonstrate he's a
true partner in peace.
“I think if true, this report would indicate that
President Carter is willing to travel any road in search of peace,” he said. “I
think President Carter would only undertake such a mission if he believed that
something could be achieved in terms of peace and reconciliation in the
region.”
G-d help us. We can credit Carter with something positive,
however. It was in 1976 that I began to realize something was amiss with
this man and his party; thus began my journey toward conservatism.

For those of you beating the Change McChange drum, let me just point out that our dear whack job Carter endorses Barry O. I shudder to think, is worse than Carter possible?
